I am beyond saving
already aged and withered
from knowing too much too young-
cut off my arm & count the rings
on your fingers.
i lie-
cold on scratches of carpet
at the foot of the bed-
it is too lonely, too empty-
soft and deceptive,
like birthday cake.
i know him by heart
his eyes like candles
tangeled in my thoughts
and flickering
- you have no new messages.
i have lived
five lives, green-eyed-
a nocturnal mating dance,
fingers down my throat
& claws crawling my elephant skin.
the hairs on my neck upright
like sexual arousal
unfulfilled by the mundane turning
of the world outside my window,
smooth skin untouched in the open wounds
between the paving tiles.

you've changed the scenery
but not the situation.
another year
to beg you silently
'take me home.'
silently take me home.
Please tell me what you think

i liked the five last verses the best. they just seemed to have more passion and easyness about it than the rest.
still an interesting piece really does make you think more about what you're talking about. kind of dark also, i do like.

this is good, a bit here and there but it sorta works because the whole piece seems to be a bit about being here and there. can't wait t see you soon xxxx
