for Panda Cat saw Alice Cat about to go and tattle.
Her paw was in the cream jug.
She stuck her tongue in a coffee mug.
Alice went to tell on her.
Instead there was some flying fur
and no one heard the kitties purr
until next day and that is sure.
Author notes
Thank you, Lewis Carroll. http://www.sabian.org/Alice/lgchap04.htm
Just making these pets even more like children! I know they would tell on one another, if they could.
Hope this is suitable for the contest to cheer up Pamela. I always enjoy a good laugh when I am laid up and people tell me this is funny.

thankyou for sharing; uplifted my mood for certain xx

This is cute! I like the personification of the kittens, like children who appeal to mother as arbiter of fairness. Your description produced images everyone knows, and made me smile in recollection.

a good piece of poetry, hehehe yeah cat fight lol i am sure too they would tell on each other's antics if they could, and yeah children are the same, anything for brownie points scored off parents.

Ha!
You could do a whole book like this, chronicling the adventures of these and other mogs. I have been trying to improve last line, but am suffering critic's block.

That has crossed my mind. One of these days.
You re right about the last line. I just grabbed a handy rhyme.

What happened to the monstrous crow
As big as a tar barrel?
Which frightened both the kitties so
They quite forgot their quarrel
Perhaps it was a product of
Genetic engineering
And flew away to Mandalay
Where Kipling was appearing
I know that cats have spits and spats
They don't agree completely
But humans too turn the air blue
They dinnae aye speak sweetly
Here's hoping that each kitty-cat
Achieves a state of stasis
That paws they'll shake, for concord's sake
Return to caucus-races
I trust that amity has now been restored in the feline world.

Pandora and Alice would be proud to know they are such muses.
Perhaps they do have some idea of the work their rivalry produces
