What is happiness to you,
Joy, love, expression.
Hand in hand upon crystal sands,
Dancing beneath the sun.
Another day passes away,
Another smile, another tear.
Pressing on through the pain,
Passing through another year.
Blackness turns to light,
Bruised hearts mend.
Withstanding another fight,
Finding salvation in a friend.
All of this means nothing,
If you don't find the joy.
Found in the hearts of children,
Or in the eyes of a boy.
All the pain adds up,
Yet love can wash away.
Life is filled with battles,
But just live it day by day.

this is the first poem i've written in a while i started seeing someone and i believe that he has inspired this write. love you bb ♥
