I don’t judge
from worn and tattered shoes
to the bird’s nest on the head
he’s just the same
as you and me
a little less for the wear
but still the same
A scared young man
confused and corrupt
knowing a life of crime
stealing and looting
trying just to get by
but yearns for another life
where he is given a chance
to try and become a better man.
He has his flaws,
but still I don’t judge.
A lovely young girl
knowing only pain
never believed in herself
has been put down by all round her.
She’s not the prettiest, thinnest or smartest
nothing special at all
while she is weird
and prefers to be alone
people don’t want to know her
but beyond all her quirks
I still don’t judge
Whiny girls,
stuck up bitches
spoiled brats
don’t like ‘em much
but I could care less
so I don’t judge
Stoners
druggies
hoodlums
the list is endless
but I don’t care
how these people live
it’s their choice, their life
I’m cool with that
I don’t judge
Before you condemn me
for being who I am
take a look at you
never taking a stand
for what you believe in
following the status quo
of what’s wrong and right
condemning others
just because they put up a fight
or never do anything right
I’m sick of it
you can’t tell me who I am
who I should talk to
or what’s good for me
so do me a favor
and don’t judge
Author notes
i'm sick of people telling me who i should talk to, or looking down on me for those who I associate with
Please tell me what you think

Amen.
What's that saying? "Never judge a book by its cover." Love this rant. Great to see you writing again, & even greater to see you back here.
