The road map in my shaking hands
Is yellowed around the edges
A catastrophe of ghost lines
Shows its been folded too many times
The legend was washed
To a glimmer of thought
And I’m standing here
At a crossroads, lost
There is only desert
In every direction
The vastness but a reflection
Of my broken mind
Where I can’t seems to find
A single idea of what way to turn

Good writing. I really like the last 6 lines, very epic

makes me stop and think...what road am I on ? thanks

the best 'road map' I know is the Bible. Like Rand/McNally it's hard to follow at times, but always get you where you need to be.

Crossroads... crossroads, definatly a subject that is interesting, I liked how you incorperated this in your poem and found it interesting.
Thank you for entering.
