Age 50!

Missing image
Last March was a special time for me
For I turned the great age of 50!

It was a wonderful time in every way
Signs even saying "Pat-Happy 50th Birthday!

I had lots of balloons for me to enjoy
Even the parties...oh boy oh boy!

There were the parties with lots of people there
From friends and family that really did care!

Lots of cards,gift certificates, and e-mails that were great
I will tell you hitting 50 sure made me feel  first rate!





I also went to stay at the Hotel Raphael in Kansas City
along the Country Club Plaza...man...that's pretty!




So as I close I will say this in glee
HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY TO A GREAT GUY LIKE ME!!

    WHEN I READ this poem i thought could have been that of a teenager. nice to c someone so youth ful at aged 50. keep it up dont let life get u down tiger grrr

    Congrats on your 50th birthday and may you live for so many years.
    In Holland, you would see Abraham and have a stuffed doll in your front yard.

    Anyway, this poem is great. I like the almost childish wording with the "high" age.

    may you live 100 years
    that will give alot of good poems. my birthday is in march too but i'm not looking forward for 50, i hope things would end by 30 atleast.
    damn! you have alot of fans on here and look at the applaus. man your poetry is awesome! worth reading and i enjoyed reading this one too.

    How fun! And sending you a very belated 50th. I hope when I turn 50 I have as much fun as you had, but I plan to enjoy all I can each day leading up to that.

    Pat, I think I enjoyed this more than anything you've ever written before. I was 50 last January and the kids gave me a surprise party. It really was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing this. I love the pictures.
