We fly through the sky
with the greatest of ease,
watch folks walk by
as we fly through the trees.
We usually are not seen
till on one we land.
Most humans are mean,
and we don't understand.
We kiss their bare skin
with love in our heart.
Then they begin
to tear us apart.
A love bite from us
and they swat us to death.
They make such a fuss
as we take our last breath.
Just fairies are we
from our head to our toes.
What people see
are mosquitoes!

Outstanding
This is so funny! I can just imagine all these fairies trying to embrace mankind with their fairy love and getting into trouble for it. Mankind has got a lot to answer for. Best of luck in the contest.
