Lolo,
We've always had it a little rough,
butting heads has always kinda been our thing,
getting into fights about anything,
most of the time I don't remember what,
both able to hold a grudge,
an unforgiving pair.
We're the sun and the moon,
balancing each other,
never quite meeting eyes,
or crossing paths,
but knowing that the other is there.
Steps have been taken on both sides,
both towards and away,
from a central goal,
of being tolerant,
or something like that...
The truth is,
I still love you as a person,
and as a friend,
but I've lost how to show it.
I'm suddenly shy,
a reverberation of earlier days,
so maybe,
I can put aside being the "honorary boy"
and you can forget that you're the "princess",
and we can hold hands and skip like we used to do.

this put me beyond words.

The title drew me in and I started reading it. It's kinda not my style but it was great.
