Confronted with loss
where do you go?
Who do you turn to
when you don't even know
who you can trust
when everything in your life
has all gone bust?
And you pick up the pieces
but the pieces don't fit
who you are now and what's become of your life -
you don't even recognize it.
So you make a new life
and start a new start
weary but wiser
but still love remains in your heart.
And through your pain you're able
to help someone else heal.
Maybe that was really all part of the deal
all along... the plan...
so you start again.
and only God will know
where you've been
and where you'll go.
