A Rainbow Just For You

When those storm clouds thunder in,
And lightning flashes east to west.
Just like a troubled lonely soul,
When God puts you too the test.

The wind blows fierce and strong,
The rain stinging on your skin,
All you view is empty darkness,
Just can’t seem to find the end.

Then in the distance breaks sunshine,
With a glow of orange that is bright.
Then this evil darkened storm,
Doesn’t carry so much might.

Then the clouds, they roll away,
Revealing a sky of only blue,
And there in all it’s beauty,
Is a rainbow just for you.

    Oh as you know I can truly relate to your poem here. Oh it is so true about the darkness and yet the clouds roll away and the beauty of life and a RAINOW does appear!! Oh how I miss your writing too. Your rhyming is just perfect and you are one of the very best rhymers on here if you ask me. Oh how I've missed you. Thank you so much for sharing such an uplifting poem for before I'm off to church.
