New Day

I have survived the night!
I have finally reached Dawn
As in before I had night
Twas cold and I was alone
Periodically seeing others
Speradic and nonlasting happiness
I wasn't able to just think of them and imagine just cuddling
I lusted for others
I do not lust for you
I can't even imagine doing so
Kissing is on the mind yes
But it don't go further than that
Is this realization to our future?
Where its not all lust
Where my mind settles on you
As the day goes on I shall see
Does the blinding heat and passion of the sun
Bring us together, or shall it be a rainy day
It may be too soon to say
But I think I love you
