| News Flash: The Navy Rolls Out a New Joint Strike Fighter
It’s no better than what it’s replacing.
It adds tremendous capability to the fleet.
It is a piece of overpriced junk.
It is low maintenance.
It is high maintenance.
It is state of the art.
It is already obsolete.
It is our F-35C Lightning II,
the Navy’s first stealth joint strike fighter...
It has been plagued from the start.
It is one of the most versatile systems ever.
It is another boondoggle headed down the pike.
We could even see commercial V/STOL applications...
It costs $83 million, it costs $38 million...
It will give us new anti-terrorists capabilities.
It would be better to speed up the development of unmanned tactical planes.
It is the only way to show up at your high school reunion...
The F-18 Hornet is only half the price and just as good.
The F-35C will outperform any fighter aircraft in the world.
It is another not-needed product of our military-industrial complex.
It is a long-overdue strike fighter.
It is designed to keep military corporations in business.
I am glad to see a new add-in to the fleet.
It eats fuel like a hog.
May God be your constant pilot...
The B version is prone to mechanical failure at critical moments.
I wonder if we can unman it and remove it’s tail,
then we can use it in tomorrow’s scenarios...
