I still remember the first time we met

There was something so different about you

Your friendship was something i wanted

That smile when you said "Hi" to me was so new

Years later and i walk along this busy street alone

In this crowd you probably wouldnt notice me

I dont really stand out

I dont talk much to people i dont know

As the cold wind of winter touches my face

The wind carries a whisper gently on the breeze

I hear someone say my name

You tapped me on the shoulder

It happened so fast

We crossed eachothers paths

We find ourselves in a tight knot

I know everythings changed

Since i have been gone

Strangers we are now

We know eachothers names

Or we thought we did

We know eachothers faces

From an album of places

Left alone in the past

Forgotten friendship buried never ment to last

She was the one who walked away from me

You can stand there and smile

I will stand here and try to look cool

I know your emotions

And you know inside my feelings rage

You know you screwed up

A dark gloomy night cold and calculating

Frost on the windows

Icy streets

Snow on the ground

We will go about our daily tasks

Our true feelings we do not share

Keeping our grudges to ourselves

We will go our seperate ways

When we meet agian

We will probably talk about the weather

Because thats what people do when they grow apart
