Ahhh, this one is a bit of a tongue-twister, but how delicious each word is, tripping over one's mouth. Good one, simone. Congrats on your silver, Scribe.

  • How I love this one.

this is amazing - I'm struggling for an elaborate enough description of how it makes me feel ... like one of the 5 lucky willy wonka kids walking nto the factory for their first view, the eclectic words all the candy jars. it is just a swirl of colour and smell and sights and mood. actually it is the overwhelming confused stage of that, like smelling with fingers and seeing with noses and touching with eyes. lucy in the sky....borealis firewalker knowing glass - what a line! (well each line an explosion of pop-rocks really, lol).
ok now I'll check out the picture and the prompt, not that it matters if you've fit a theme or anything else. what a great poem S.

just what I was going for I don't know amaranthine lover all that well but what I've read of her work led me to believe she'd enjoy a bit of Alice meets Willy Wonka meets Luna nee Nefertiti enjoying lemon cake...

      love your commentary, M...

Oh my goodness! Even before I checked out the picture, my senses were overwhelmed with joyfulness and surprise! Such a lovely mixture of images and sensation -- I wish this were for MY birthday! I particularly like the sphinx sizzling out the epigram! Lita
