Really ought to go to school.

Kind of guy who lives alone,
scratchy tape on answerphone.
Weeds the garden, feeds the cat,
don't care where the dollar's at.
Guess they know what's right 'n wrong;
think I'll write a country song:
Road rolls on and river bends;
just ain't got no time for friends.

Sad. Great rhyme and rhythm, as always with your works, but sad. 'Road rolls on and river bends' resonates for me - I too need to know what's down the road, around the next bend in the river. Best of luck in the contest.
