you where the light that pulled me from the darkness
the enduring words that pushed my soul to seek peace
rays of joy reaching my wounds
salving a broken hearted spirit
sweetest words that painted smiles
across time weather near or far
my memories stir recalling the past
never forgotten and lessons for ever recalled
loves joy and it’s pain
left in this hollow shell of forever emptiness
you where once my healing rain
and then my deepest sorrow
my forever love no matter how deep the pain
you will forever touch my heart
