halfway
today
I, high off your raspy verbations, your tremolo
You, off sweet, sweet hashish tea
(I pretended though,
you were high off me)
{I palpitate and commiserate in my internal organs, oh the squelch of gears! The infernal vermifuges of my *gasp* pleonastic destiny in collision, in heck, COLLUSION, with your every movement...every solitary tremble of ankle or collarbone...}
"Danielle...?"
oh shit.
(whisper, SHOUT, oh but to be vainglorious and exuberant! Such timbre and tone have never before vocalized nominal formalities with such grace, such eloquent elegance...)
"Ever have this, thing? Inside you, that makes you all, like, discombobulated?"
you.
"Like, sheesh, I don't know, FUCKING COCK, man, hah, the need...no, wait yeah. The desire to lose control. Ha ha, I adore and AHBORE that feeling! I wonder how Ani would feel about that?" Then she resumes the sipping of the thick, thick tea.
"She would feel...like weeping."
"Whaat? Danielle, I'm the one on drugs here..."
"Some things are just too terrible a beauty, Luna."

Author notes
I realize verbations is not an actual word. It just sounds nice on the tongue.
My first post in quite a while...I wrote it May 24, 2009 actually...just never really liked it until now.
Poetry is strange like that. You write on a strand for a moment, read it over and despise it...toss it into a pile for months.
After this hibernation, it seems different, more nuanced, better.
Poems that seem great right after their intial creation always turn out as krap in the end.
It's the krap ones that ferment into fine wine with age and a new eye.
Remember that.

I love the words you use in this, they really create an atmosphere, even if some are made up. Hey some of the best poems and stories in the world are based on made up words like dr suess and the jabaworky.
I can totally get who is saying each line, its fine.
The start is my favourite bit.

Thanks so much...
Hey, Shakespeare invented almost half the english language...it seems that way at times.
Why can't I contribute...jk
