I never thought this world of mine
Could slip through space, recluse, or crime
In a waltz capturing the ripples from your lips
A breathtaking choreography of which
I have never learned
To the heavens they disport
Long, deliberate, and brimming
Then spiriting the vagaries of Hades
They sink and gently crawl
Sliding across her marble surface
Wet, soft, and protean
Do they then entangle and become
Locked
Overpowered in Medussa's snare
Her tendrils enter the point of contact
Burrowing deep into the pit of my disturbance
As a hungry Kraken
And I am taken
Pure. Sweet. Bliss.
How I've searched for you
Our match could only have been made
In coffee. Three sugars.
I can still taste your chocolate-mint breath
Minds unravel then braid around the other
Creating a personalized staircase
To our impossible secret so high above
And we lay each other to sleep
In the curve of a waning moon
I have never seen roses
The way you have shown me
Thank you

No I do not have 'in love' feelings, romantic feelings, or ANY of such feelings for her. I care a lot for her, yes, but in all honesty this is really a friendship; a friendship of such levels I have never before experienced. My last three lines were, in part, an expression of of-said friendship.
Glad you liked it!

You know... this is really, really sweet. Do you really love her that much?
"I have never seen roses the way you have shown me. Thank you."
Right on, Prewett.
