Who knew that I could feel this way,
Smiling and laughing so purely,
I feel your embrace and it warms me,
You kiss me tenderly,
You whisper sweet nothings,
Everything is perfect,
The world envies us,
And nothing could go wrong,
And just when I accept that you are so incredible,
I open my eyes,
And wake to your lies,
If only life was a perfect dream...

    I was going to have a contest about lies and liars ... this would have been a splendid entry. The words are well chosen and the write as a whole seems well thought out. I usually prefer rhyme but this is nice.
