Here
In Paris
City of love
Who can resist its charm?
Lovers flock the streets at night
Walking adoringly hand in hand
Immersed in eachothers' eyes
Should all the princes of the world
Fail to find me
I'll always have Paris
My last hope for love
In Paris
City of love
Who can resist its charm?
Lovers flock the streets at night
Walking adoringly hand in hand
Immersed in eachothers' eyes
Should all the princes of the world
Fail to find me
I'll always have Paris
My last hope for love

Short but sweet and what a treat!! Just made me want to go to Paris even more I so want to go someday!! I just loved it, the flow and imagery was just wonderfully done. My favorite part is,

I was in Paris in 2002 ... not a great experience for me but I'd like a do-over. Nice job making the write look like the Eiffel Tower. (or am I seeing things?)Thanks for entering the contest.

J'adore paris!
Merci for entering. -
Aw, I love this. Not only because I'm taking French right now, but also because this was so pretty and romantic. I love the message potrayed here too. I also applaud you for using only 47-48 words. It's tough, I know. I did a quickie like that recently. Good job! I'm going to say....yes, because I'm curious on your writing style. Congrats, you're a semifinalist

Aww...this is kinda sad, but at the end you give a lil hope. I know how you feel believe me... Maybe I should go to Paris. LOL

Awesome. The last few lines really spoke to me and made me think of how I felt a long time ago. Paris is so beautiful and that picture you included of the Eiffel is gorgeous!
Thanks so much for entering my contest and good luck to you!

Beautifully written piece.
A lot of love roaming the
city, and yet even if love
is not returned .. faith in
Paris exists. Good work here.
Though, I've noticed you did
not credit the actual photo
used on your page.. it's common
courtesy to give credit to the
author of the picture... just letting you know.
Best of luck & thanks for entering

I like the take within the mind of the girl of the prompt, that she sees Paris as her potential for finding love, leaning on it heavily for the reputation for l'amour.
