I never thought I’d be here again
trying to bridge two lives into one
wondering if we were doing the right thing
are we that serious or is this just a little fun
you talk about moving in
and my breath catches in my throat
my fingers start itching
inching closer to my coat
I’ll start a fight if I have to
so that we don’t have to have this talk
I love you, I swear I do
but I’m not afraid to end this and walk
if you keep pushing me
towards a goal I’m not ready for
I’m not sure I’ll be able
to be with you anymore
You say we’re on the right track
that this is the natural order of life
but this isn’t the first time I’ve been here
and I’m not ready to be anyone’s wife
but you keep pushing and pushing
and you want an answer I know
but if you’re giving me an ultimatum
then I’m going to choose to go

Very good.. and i know exactly what you are talking about.. i havent been pressured it to marriage but i have other things... its way to much weight being lifted on my shoulders and i know exacly what your going through...
