Life Insurance

I'm traveling down a road I don't know
Once again I'm playing dress-up as a hobo
My clothes are soaking wet from all the rain
But it's warm inside my brain

I just checked into an unnamed hotel
Didn't pay a dime but they wished me well
The nights get longer but I'm fine with that
'Cause it's pleasant where I'm at

I stayed a while but it's time to move on
Walked down the road, heard a famil'ar song
I ran to the ice cream truck up ahead
But it was only in my head

The only thing we know for sure in life
Is that eventually we'll all die
So pick a path and keep focused, man
And don't forget to leave some tracks behind

I'm traveling down a road I don't know
Once again I'm playing dress-up as a hobo
My clothes are soaking wet from all the rain
But it's warm inside my brain;
It's warm inside my brain.
