Chainsaw Buffet

A body is chopped to pieces
The blades from the chainsaw spinning out of control
Blood dripping and flesh being flung across the room
As body parts and skin slam to the floor
Lights flick on and off as a flash of red colors the darkness
Crimson lakes start to form in hidden passageways
Screams echo hysterically then change from laughter to delight
As they suck on the leftover pieces of chopped and diced human
Like mad infected vultures fighting for their last meal
Claws digging in, scratching away till theirs nothing left to pick
Bones flung away and discarded as roars of hunger pollute the air
The chainsaw still whirls in a hypnotic spin as the insane ones stare
Arteries still hang from the rotating blades as they gently slip to the ground
Saliva drips from their mouths as they fight amongst themselves
To see who reaches to devour the juicy bits of tender meat first
At the chainsaw buffet

    gory and glory

you ahd this one in mind for a long time.It appears so well thought out.I liked its flow and choice of words.Guess that was also deliberate.I personally do not like bloodshed...but in this one I did....smiles.Please go
through my latest You Gonna Like it,and other poems as well.

Moomy this was great I Loved the part of the blood and boodies everywhere maybe it is because I am angry and hurt but hey it happens life sucks that you die. lol

  • Oh my, it's as if I'm watching "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" now in my head. Very ghoulish and gory, and as a fellow who has used a chainsaw extensively (only on trees however, lol) I can attest to it's efficacy for slicing things to bits. It's a very horrific tale which is precisely what you want for a Halloween poem.

Mmmm.. That guy. Or girl... Does not know what they're talking about! That was tasteful In the way you think it is of course. It was gory, horrifying, and I could picture it all. A scene out a horror movie, not meant for a "jump" or "gut wrench psychological scare" but a pure visual image bound to turn your stomach. It's a "by the Gods, what If i was looking at that right now" scare.

    Very well done.

It's got gore i'll give you that but i'm not terribly scared. The poem has a certain depth and a rather disgusting nature, i rather hope your not writing from personal experiance on this one. You need to space your name out in the AN so it's like:

    G o r e c k i

Other wise we still can't see it. It's a good entry and you never know it might have what it takes it might not just remember blood doesn't always make for the best horror...mwhahaha

    Ecki.

  • miss nyte, i love it ^_^
