I am a spectator, watching life unfold before me
through others;
sometimes it is nice to be free
and be just a spectator;
What will I gain?
Nothing, if I do not observe well;
and if I do not observe well,
I might as well struggle with life first-hand.
There will come the day
when I am cast into the limelight,
my blind heart struggling,
for others to observe.
If I fall, and someone has observed,
then more than I will have learned.
Please tell me what you think

Sometimes, we (or me any way) are so self-absorbed that we fail to observe the suffering of others. Or we purposely ignore it as in the case of passing by a homeless person and avoid any eye-contact so that we don't become a sharer in their misery. It's hard to make eye-contact and then ignore them ... makes us feel selfish. That's what this write makes me think of.

Powerful message
As we watch others hardships we learn a great lesson but often we choose to not observe their pain or joy, well im sure you are observing well as you penned this beautifuly

You've made me think... I have a writer friend here who uses AP itself for inspiration, and his main method is interacting with others, well, I can add one- observation, but I'm sure the interacting is more fun...!
