Quads.

Four peachy bottoms

all in a row

four tiny babies

with forty fluffy toes.

Four hungry Babies

crying all together

two loving parents

at the end of their tether.

Late night feeding

eyes wide shut

programed robots

of the tired parents rut.

Over priced diapers

and baby toiletries

bank book empty

money difficulties.

But somehow we manage

to raise them to their teens

and never do we say

that we'll never do it again

Looking back on having quads

you'll say it all was well

to go back and have them singley

then that would be hell.

They'll all grow together

have fighting fun times

have each other to play with

and you'll still be in your prime.

  • this is wonderful!

you pointed out many of the ups and downs of parenting here; especially having quadruplets. It was a joy to read, and thank you for going out of your way to write a poem especially for this contest. It is very special and I it rhymed and flowed flawlessly! Good luck in the contest!

Wow. That was amazing. Kind of reminds me of what my life about to be like. My fiance is bringing his three kids, plus my one, we're going to be a full house come Sunday! They're not babies, though. 6, 7, and 9. The twins are 7.
You did a beautiful, sweet job with this. Best of luck in the contest.
    Write on.
