sans quatre, sans deux

Missing image

I walked among blue dandelions

sun and mood of summer heat
clear bright, high sky left shadows
near my feet, and my stride was modest.
Pink and white blossoms too, one
a softer rose in hue; beneath wild vines
with purple fruits on bunched stems,
left the feeling of summer's best
and the end of a season coming near.

I walked among blue dandelions

and wondered why no one
ever handed a bouquet of denim blues
so modern and "contre temp", a greening of romance,
so bold this old and fertile hold upon reality.

I walked among blue dandelions

humble weeds that might yet feed a needy world
blue, a piece of sky captures sunshine in a lover's eye.

    Those are lovely little flowers
Such a gentle beauty waiting to be discovered among weeds. Food and beauty in one

This is such a tender penning, overflowing with evanescent grace, Poet Man. I happen to love the color blue, so it definitely appeals to me.
