Portrait of Innocence

Art’s kiss a press of brush to paint:
slow, thoughtful swirl
to mix the hues of heart.
Lingering, waiting for the smooth of blend.
When white softens reds to skin,
scrape of simple starlight, pinpricks of

light
far deeper soar
and yellow stirs in dark a golden streak.
In deep seamless embrace, reminders of true

heart
the tense of canvas spread to meet the stroke.
Sensual, serious, and waiting to partake
the trembling hand.
Now curves defined by subtle line
match ends prewritten beyond senses’ time.
As such composed moments in layered hold.

    Thank you Devon ...

for a beautiful collaboration. Without your input the beauty would have been lesser brilliant.

May you be inspired to write more.

    Love
    Myra
