The Birds, the Bees, and the Pilots

A bird flies through the air
Not caring for what lies below him
Nor whatever may be above
Except when his prey is within sight

A bee flies from flower to flower
Not caring what kind of plant it is
Nor where he goes next
Except when the opportunity to strike appears

A pilot flies over a foreign land
Not caring if he calls attention to himself
Nor what or who he destroys
Except when his target is in sight

Author notes

A little piece I had to do in English class whilst we were studying free verse poetry.
