Spiritually kept
I come and go as I please
From your womb to tomb.
Haunting your sculptures
I am more than your double
I am your bad moon.

Good one, Jeremi!

This is brilliant! Short, precise and powerful! Love it! Gypsy

I hope I am never anyone's bad mood, but I know I have been and in that understand some of the meaning of this poem..maybe understand all of it, but it's not for me to define the words of another ..only to appreciate.

I'm going to hang on to Ed's coattails on this one. I am feeling the lack of my education, here, but hey, I sense brilliance, nonetheless, which puts me in a better mood.

I love fried ka. with some cajun mayonaise for dipping.
vesuvian doppelganger hiding behing the eggs at the market.
Though i am not averse to some ba kla va dripping with honey and nuts.
Like, which way did he go Scoob? -
Did that lil' lad of yours pour yoghurt over the puter again??
hehehhehehheh
Ahh well, best not to dwell on them too much, bad moods come and go like a sirroco wind.. hot, blustery and then ahh warm and calming.. just breathe out and walk into the light

Is it chicken or tuna?

to think that my "bad mood" is personified in anyone/thing/place, makes me tremble. it's a very striking image that you portray here.
i dont see this as egyptian, though, but a reflection of every society and how they deal with perhaps death, and other such variables.

Nah. Never my bad mood. We're a team. Oh wait, there I go putting myself all over your poem - just like back in the beginning of time. You are simply writing a brilliant haiku about Egyptian souls....Nyx will like this. Thanks...I dig.
Here, not sure I ever left you one of these, I just learned recently (no scent and not an orchid)
