I do not understand what happened to you, me, and us
Why do the simple things come at the highest price of all?
The tender loving glances, the hand holding the dancing
Why are they the first things to stop?
Now its arguments and despising glares and fighting
When did we fall out of love?
What made us forget the way we felt before?
The way it was me and you against the world
Now it’s just me against you
I’m lost in a world of torment and self doubt
I want us to work together to find our way out
Marriage is not a gift it’s not an automatic right
We need to work together to strive towards the light

Hating the way you treat me ( don't use the same word twice, hate/hating. try using a thesaurus and check out "hate" there are at least 20 ways to say hate)
