The Beauty of Jesus

Are you hearing whispers in your mind,
Ones that are so very far from kind?
Is Satan telling you you're junk?
Got your spirit all in a funk?
I know the solution. I've got it for you.
Listen closely, and I'll tell you what to do.

As he whispers 'you're not worthy' in your ear
And tries to rob you of your God-given cheer.
As he tells you that you've let God down
And caused your Savior to wear a frown.
Listen closely, and I'll tell you what to do.
I know the solution. I've got it for you.

You agree with him! He's absolutely right.
God's mercy you don't deserve. No need to fight.
You just whisper back, with a smile on your face,
"That's the beauty of Jesus. He gives me Grace."
I've shared the solution. I've given it to you.
The ball's in your court. What will you do?

    YES!

This was intelligent, truthful, cognitive, clever, fun to read, personal, and so very biblically-on-target!

I have also heard it said, "When Satan comes to remind you of your past, just remind him of his future." Faith being the opposite of fear (or fear being a form of faith applied in reverse), requires that we remember to have just as much faith to believe in God's grace, as we did in believing what Jesus Christ did for us the day we first believed the Gospel.

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him..."
    Colossians 2:6
