The morbidly apathetic
Power hungry bureaucratic
Oxymoronic fools
Helpless to stop their destruction
Immobilizing condescension
Tyrannical self-satisfaction
At innocents expense
Tell me how to fight their power
Unjustly gained and used to cower
Causing harm to those they’ve sworn to
Patting their backs for damage they do
Someone has to stop the madness
The thousands die because of duress
At the hands of their politics
Because their tyranny is unchecked
