The world is just out to get us it seems..

And I'm pretty sure your tired of me talking about how much I hate the world..
But I'm so sick of it doing the things that it does to people like us..
We have so much to give..and yet it holds us back
I dont want to see you in such anguish

Even though you may not believe a word that comes out of my mouth anymore..
You are destined to be happy..
You've always cheered me up when no one else could..
I dont blame you for anything...and you shouldnt either

I'm sorry if this isnt as uplifting as it should be..
I'm so exhausted..the words dont come as easy anymore
I've tried so hard..to keep everything from falling
But in the end, it all fell the same way...down

I wish I could hug you and tell you its okay..
I wish I could sit next to you and just talk like it was what we've always done..
I dont want to give you false hope anymore..
And all I have to give you for now is a shoulder to cry on
Someone to be there when things arent the way they should be..

Everyone one needs help sometimes getting back up onto their feet
As much as I'm afraid to admit it, I too need  help sometimes..
Its never easy..and in fact it probably never will
But having someone there to tell you to be happy because you deserve much better

Gets us through the grime and rubble left behind from the storm we didnt know was coming..

I'm ALWAYS here for you...
