i.
Margins of soft skin caress me gently.
Have I yet seen stars bright as shine as I when radiance invaded my share.
Ribbons of lights waltzed inside my bluest blue.
What a beauty was I, people would whisper.
Cattle to the rich, luxury to the poor.
Worshiped, adored & wanted.
Yet only suave hands adorned by shimmer
have ever been laid on me.
Cold beauty would soon made me bare
& lips could not warm any solitude ever misplaced.
ii.
Has my lover forsaken my bluest beauty?
or has her eye caught attention of the greenest greens now?
Last night I saw full moons of wisdom
& the bare hand of a man caressed me softly.
He was brief yet I caught him staring into my moonlit shimmer;
my cerulean eyelashes danced within his hazel eyes.
He was gone, beyond the horizon; he vanished.
I was touched by her soft skin & then I found myself wet.
Had rain drenched her completely?
Had he made her sweat?
Her wet palms kissed me; acid tears had slipped from her eyes;
That night she swore no more to look alive.
iii.
I was misplaced, inside a tomb made of silvery walls;
I could taste not the light; my thirst had need to be quenched.
Enslaved inside this cell for my lover has refused to her proposal.
My creator has forsaken her & her heart beats no more.
I am no more Her ocean blue.
Author notes
I used a necklace.

Oh...
(bows low and reads the poem again)
This was amazing. The feeling and sadness so human. And exactly what I was looking for. It was vauge and telling all at the same time and the flow fit well. And entire story of the life of a neckless. The last line was my favorite of the piece.
(smiles)
This was very captivating and sad as well. And every bit enjoyable to read as I hope it was to write.
Thank you so much for entering and best of luck to you,
Your Czarina,
~Sera
