In the Dimnest of Night

In the diminess of night,
 He lights my way.
When I retire at the end of the day.
Then I confess my woes.
And ask for forgiveness of my wayward ways.
I seek the pleasure of His peace.

Through the night I know,
I am safe and in His keep.
Wither I wake to Him or to His world.
He is close and soon I will one day be there.
I am loved by Him, and belong to Him.
He paid the price for me.

To know His peace,
This comfort that keeps me safe.
To feel His assurance relaxes me.
This helps me keep my faith.
For I will alwaays go to sleep,
And awaken again with Him.
