Wisteria

Melodies of Asian vines creeping up my soul
Beauty unfolds on the pages of my life;
The ink gone from darkness to the tint of sunset snow
My life is purified.

The night's wisdom has blessed me
No longer burned by the day's revealing ways;
It tries to show a path to camoflauge and similarity.

My bloom is with the spring;
I awaken from winter
And I know I have been washed by icy clarity.

In my beauty and unimaginable tint
I'll flow through the eyes
Unto the minds of many;
I wonder if I captivate.

    Very wild and beautiful lass,
    it very strange that i just finished a new piece
    with almost the same message and language....
    i would not touch one thing here...
    in fact if you do I think I will go mad....
    I enjoy your work.
    your kindness in taking time to read my work
    is extremely complementary to me ...
    you are a fantastic natural writer little gypsy,
    i love this one so.....
    if you would like to read mine at your leisure here it is.....
    kinda of Poe-ish...i have dark piece of work and a wee brighter...

    ...The Shadows of Sound...

    Bless your heart lass,
    Liam

    great job with the prompt. thank you for entering. I have the plant growing outside of my bedroom ... there are a lot of shades of purple and I love them all.

    This is a very lovely write... I knew the plant but didn't know it was the name of the colour too. XD I always just called them 'purple'...
    In any event, after checking out the wisteria some more and coming back to read this poem, I liked it even more. I'm not sure what it is abotu it that draws my attention so much, it has a lot going for it. Good luck in the contest!
