still so fresh in my mind
though many days have passed
does it seem so very unkind
that I prayed it would last?
a man wandering aimlessly
thoughts dispersing like the breeze
thunder rumbling in his heart
a love that weakens his knees
stolen moments alone
the rooms remained dark
but something there shined
like the walks in the park
I could see it in your eyes
I could feel it in your touch
for me it was no surprise
we could love each other this much
this passion burning within me
since the day we first met
and now alone I may be
but I will never forget
still so fresh in my mind
though many days have passed
of all the mountains I have climbed
this, the roughest ever amassed

Beautiful. That is all there is to describe your words. As talented as always.

This is an amazing poem of lost love. The beauty you portray in here lasted throughout the poem. The light that is given lasts long after it is taken away. This I believe. Good work, and keep writing!
