I have daydreams and wishes,
and nightmares of being separate from you,
and equally disturbed by the distance,
I'm anxious for the day to pass
to hear about yours went,
Passing time writing lines,
scribbled poetry between customers,
an oasis in hell...just daydreaming
Hoping you receive poetry in the spirit its given,
pleasant thoughts fill your head as your loveliness dances around me,
I'm wishfully thinking, my blanket barer has me searching to
uncover the beauty in her nudity, emotional honesty is the objective,
my first step is trying to understand, her prospective, as my prospective wifey
Second is accepting the felicity in this moment, finding the end of a short
journey of searching, hope is our bond into infinity
I see a queen but her self image is different, can we reconcile our pasts
to look towards a future as one?
Clearly I'm ahead of myself, but without a head to think,
hurried thoughts remind me to slow down and process,
Savor the new world that lies ahead, seizing the happiness that abounds,
