Smiles can only hide so much.
They shield the hurt and broken hearts of many.
But who actually wants to be seen?
To be heard?
Which soul is dying to be acknowledged?
Is it the young girl with a broken family
or is it the child who doesn't have one?
If smiles can only hide so much,
Why do these heartbroken souls never get caught in their bluffs?

That makes lots of sense, actually. Perhaps the wording is a little difficult to comprehend in its essence. But now that you say i in the way you do, it makes sense, and if you believe that that is the wording you really do want and intend go for it, definitely.

This really made me feel, and it flows quite well too but I think the ending is difficult to decipher properly and a bit of a let down. This would be wonderful with some clarification. Good work!

How could I clarify the end better? What it meant when I wrote it like that was if smiles can't hide everything why do people who smile to do that never get caught faking their happiness. Does that make sense?
