I laced my corset tight,
lowered my goggles to my eyes,
and waited for my airship captain,
to take me away -
everyday, from this reality.
Through this computer mainline, you
fucked me over, raw, and I wanted you...
to take me, make me, over into what you wanted.
pull my hair, fill me with your fantasy,
but when fantasy wasn't enough...
you ... you ... you ... left me wanting,
drinking Clorox to make this life go away.
But God damn it, I lived.
and now life is hard... without you, I
want to scrape out my eyes, smash everything,
and fuck you, I miss you... although,
you've ruined my life.
I lost my job, I've been to jail, all because...
I couldn't drive straight,
for fucking weeping for you...
I've lost all simblance of sanity,
and made napalm in my driveway to burn
all images of you... you who had my heart, for
a short, but bittersweet time.
all for the life of a steampunk, I still dream of
you and all your fucking lies.
I'm filled with rage, but ragged fingernails still
type of you.
I'll never understand, why I still wait for your messages,
and still look for you, in our old haunts.
the reports of my death were premature, but the intent
was there...was there...
Fuck you for what you've made me become.
What did you think

I love your honesty... and perspective! I believe you speak the truth... and hearts break in the meantime. Thank You! *curtsies

ah never put all you love eggs in on basket! fir us men, we do not give a fuck. all we want when we are wild is to fuck, we dont care who or whose hearts we break in the4 meantime, we only think of blowing our bag. and many a man will say i was wrong for saying this ooen and honest but women will still come to us no matter waht cos we are bad boys and women like bad boys.
if there was a priest saying marry mer and then me here sat her lauhging saying fuck me --- left or right baby?

Thank you, I've been involved in the steampunk culture for quite a while, fell in love, and ... well, you can see from the poem what has happened...

I clicked on this in the feature area because the steampunk culture has always fascinated me. I wasn't expecting such a raw piece full of emotional angst and bittersweet (?) revelations.
