I saw your name,
it made me smile;
and now I sit,
and think a while.
Where are you now?
Why did you go?
Who was the person,
I used to know.
She's far away,
some other land,
now I have no-one,
to give a helping hand.
There was a time,
I once had you,
We had each other
and the places we knew.
The songs we loved,
and a fallen tree,
because I had you,
and you had me.
I write your name,
and shed a tear,
only wishing,
my friend was near.
I give you words,
that have no sound,
and only hope,
it's your heart they found.
I have your picture,
framed by my side,
it makes me smile,
so very wide.
It makes me laugh!
for the memories we had,
but then I miss you,
and I'm back to sad.
I'll see you again,
I just don't know when,
but we'll be together,
some time, and then....
And then what?
We'll be together,
up on a cloud,
not under the weather.
We'll go to places we knew,
sing songs we love,
We'll be on top of the world!
way up above.
And I'll have you,
and you'll have me,
Where did you go?
A fallen tree....

This still makes me sad
You still have me and I have you. That's all that matters.

Awww this is sooooo sweet! I use to be Creed Trees
Could I be the one you're looking for
I really liked this poem though Ash. Keep up the great work. This poem had a great rhyme.

Aw! This was very pretty.

Might want to change "A helping hand" to a different, more precise word that has a different kind of rhyme for your "land". Um... and the end's kind of confuzzling, dudette.
Other than that, the feeling of loss is illustrated nicely here. =D
