Feet that walked on whisper wings
A voice to play my heart strings
You filled my every waking hour
A love that had magical power
My happy feet danced around
Tapping to your loved filled sound
Blinded by the thought of you
Thinking that your heart was true
Illusions of love so rare
In this I found despair
For as I watched with saddened eyes
I spied to my surprise
Another who walks on whisper wings
Captured by the voice that plays heart strings
No longer to walk on whisper wings
No voice to play my heart strings
Can I dance
No not I
My feet have but a saddened sigh!
