either grow close or separate with time,
so I appreciate your time,
and we got nothing but time
Could see my dreamgirl in the motherland,
ebony skin glimmering,
in golden rays of perfect days,
a moment in my daydream
Ask myself: Why am I thinking of anything at 3 in the morning?
I'm loving you for real baby,
I hope some of this is relevant
much of you is gray
though the ebony portrait couldn't be seen clearer,
than in the smile in your pictures
or in that pose, half-pout, half smile,
as if to say: "humor me or you'll be losing me"
I can't keep from smiling when I see it
but that image is just a picture
and my imagination is limited
A small slice of deeper being,
more precious, Godly and inspiring
the more you reveal to me,
about who you are, who you want to be
what direction you moving in,
Did I say I fell in love with you?
That inner person shaped by He,
he reigns as the song says:
"From heaven above
With wisdom, power and love"
and it's a blessing just to know you
to know God's chosen one,
is driven to help children
because being an ear to listen
is the best you could give them
second to helping them
find, know, and love Jesus,
So its inspiration to know you want to help children,
to become great men and women,
following in the path of their teacher,
I love you more than you could measure,
and we could argue for days,
but my fellow grooms say we always lose,
so I settle for "I love you"
You know how to tempt me,
if say you love me and ask me what I think,
I would only show you how I felt about you,
Only three words could capture the feeling,
Wrote this long ass poem and got no further than,
"I love you beautiful, can't wait to discover more,
hope I didn't bore you, but your love is weighing on me,
and I can't find the floor"
PS I stopped thinking of reasons, so my heart could embrace your being, I couldn't get you off my mind so I wrote some of what I was feeling
