Big empty rooms
Dark and cornered
A stale sense of death
A friend by my side
Wondrous and terrifying
Unfaltering dustiness and
A mystery waiting to
be discovered behind
the tattered curtains...
A spirit enters behind me
The walk-in closet
has become a room with
a secret door
And I don't know what to do
The back yard storming
My parents' death
they still live on-
The feeling of not being afraid
But welcoming the mystery
with wide, open arms
Feeling at peace with the darkness
And the loneliness and the
giant, empty mansion
Welcoming the frightening
thoughts with complete readiness
Take me to the unknown and
Give me a clue...
I'll find the truth in it.
