There is no simple truth
unless its life
born to die
how simple that fact
then we learn confusion
an education for fools
how simple it would be
if we could be like the rain
harmonic with the earth
life evokes distortion
by its quilt bound
as its meant to be
here I sit and think of you
what your life was
and you turn into them
reflections that embrace
I know I’m not here for me
but I try
I caught humanities lies
as they fell
my eyes opened
I understood a hollow abyss
I know so much more now
I know warmth of the sun
the darkness of clouds
I know the fraternity of rain
the humility of mud
I know the strength of trees
as they bow and bend to the wind
I know the scent of flower’s purpose
in the spring
the freedom of cascading leaves
in the fall
I know the fragility of snowflakes
as I know their bite
I know life
and that's enough for me

I know the fraternity of rain
the humility of mud
Such beautiful lines…they evoke so much in me. This is such a lovely write Sunny. Throughout the flow one can feel the heaviness, yet you deliver with softness and reality of just being in the moment. It’s all we have after all. And it’s those moments that make us. Very well done.

Truly beautiful, I feel the smoothness and harshness of life through your words, they mean a lot more in life than in paper I bet still you say so much, there is so much to grasp and comprehend in each line and between the lines, this what makes this write even more powerful. Well done.
