Running toward the greatest Light, until I’m finally done.
I don’t wanna be without You, Lord. I am in Your hand.
You give me love for my life, with each and every command.
I don’t need to know what's next. You are all I need to know.
I don’t need to know what’s ahead. It’ll be You who shows.
It’s Your love that never fails. I’ve seen it with each day.
I just wait to hear You speak, after all I’ve prayed.
My life and breath come from You. I know where I’ll go.
There is nothing else that I need. You are all I need to know.
The morning rises with my hope. All I really need is You.
I have my goal in my heart. You’re the One I run to.
Who do I have but You, God? You are all I desire.
I have the heat deep inside. You’re the Source of my fire.
I have my place at Your feet. It’s there I am complete.
You inhabit all my praise. You are all I see.

Author notes
Once in a while I write about someone and my impression of their relationship with Jesus. On a day thinking of this person this came to me, and I felt I just had to write it, like it would be sin not to do so. That's not something I feel often with writing.
I think I write this and name as you see here because I believe she understands this. I believe she speaks this without saying a word. I'm just me trying to speak Virginia; it sounds like me. Or maybe this is how Virginia would sound if she wrote like me.
I’m not saying in this that she’s perfect. It’s the imperfect that need the Lord, and can learn His love through their imperfection. I don't trust perfect people. They're also boring. I just think I’m aware she knows some things. The smart are not smart because of what they know, but because they know where to find knowledge. The weak know where to find strength.
Please see this as a word of encouragement for the reader. It says I can tell she knows the Lord. I thank Him with such thoughts of her.
With much fond regard & appreciation, I post this.
Please tell me what you think

I have a deep heat inside. For more of your poetry!
"I have a deep heat inside. You're the source of my fire."
To me that is the strongest line in the poem.

This piece captures the strength in faith. I often hear people ask "how can you follow a belief you cannot prove so strongly" and I feel like this would be an appropriate answer for them. It is like a beautiful Psalm.
"There is nothing else that I need. You are all I need to know."
I think that is the most powerful line in the poem. That is the bottom line....Maybe think about repeating it at the end. Or re-emphasize it in some way.

I like the poetry, but by using the same wording in just two paragraphs, it looks accidental. "You are all I need to know". The rest flows well.

All you tell here LOVE!
You apparently are answering your own question about LOVE-The greatest power of soul and body of ours in: "Who do I have but You, God? You are all I desire." besides the discovery of mankind's energy over your nice lines, adding to them
"I have the heat deep inside. You’re the Source of my fire".
Thank you for your reminding us of LOVE!
