Sweet Tender Kiss

My blood runs cold
My body shakes
And I revise my words.
I shall not want
I shall not call
For the one I love is gone.
I miss you my love.
You were sweet to me.
Never once did you cry.
Never once was I hit.
You made me feel safe
In the heart I call home.
And I rest my head,
Next to your's
For the time being I will sit
And I will wait with you
Until my love stops bubbling.
You love me not
It is no sin.
But I let the world
crumble and cave in
Around me.
