Best friend I said
Best friend you said
And life went on
You were there
And so was i
But what do we have now
You moved away
And I remember that day
Because you held my hand and said
Best friend
And I said it too
now I stay in touch with you
I write each day
And Instant message too
Because life couldn’t go on without
The smiles you bring
With the things you say
Or the tears I shed for the things that happened
Through out you crazy day
Now once more, but not the last
Ill take a stand and say
Best friend,
Do you still say it too?

the poem is very touching. it is beautifully written. it's so hard when a friend moves far from you... so sad, because then the bonds you had with he/she may weaken and eventually break. hope it does not happen to you. if this friendship is worth fighting for, then do it.
