Fires of Hatred

Fires of hatred
Burn within my eyes
When I see you down there
Don’t be surprised
‘Cause you know why you’re here

Your eyes the fear in your soul
While mine has no life
My soul was long forgotten
I’ve been down here for so long
That all hope went away

You beg and plead for another chance
I take no notice and watch you squirm
Tears of sadness run down your face
I smile getting entertained from your pain
You noticed there is no hope for you

Fires of hatred
Begin to consume your soul
I become bored
Having seen this before
From countless others

Your soul fights for its freedom
I take interest once again
No ever fought the fire before
Your soul won the battle
And you gain hope again

I smirked knowing the end results
You get all smug thinking you’ve won
You challenge me
I accepted it gladly
Like a child receiving candy

Fires of hatred
Attacks your soul  once more
Your soul wins again
I laugh at your happiness
Just because your soul wasn’t consumed

Fires of hatred
Begins to consume your flesh
