This earth -world is a variance of self unclaimed,
conception, a human door
opened by the lone God whose Triad Being
kindly invites us to know the plan.
defiant,
we make a fool of the stars,
reduce them to random sparks
of mindless gaseous dung
a game of Clue- chance and demise;
we, with moody sorceries-
from grieving loss or hearthrob.
while, daring and unexplained, bobbles the
leggy crab sideways like life in nigh approach,
its brilliant coppered sundance hailing~
Sovereign pearly eyes not
forsaking.There-beneath the blanket
the full-celled Darling ever flicks
its shell,
slowly crushing the serpent’s skull
hoping, at each free will,
we see the most obvious
omniscient-
Hung-over -so grossly,
grossly
in love
with us.
Woe to lower idols who limit
the First and Omega.
More sense to worship Great Unseen
than visible men of philanthropy-
may as well be kilted dragons,
frogs with forked tongues
before which to kneel.

shrugs I guess so....

Awhhhhhhhhhh....really? I'm glad you're familiar
with the bible.
It's so much more than we think! -

I know a lot of the bible...I've read it so many times and looked over it then thrown it down in pure frustration...but you have done a good job here again in expressing your feelings..I love reading your works on umm uhh him.

Hi!
i am in agreement with the overall philosophy expressed in this
-follows my basic view that we are spirits having a human experience and that our spirits are part of God, so in essence we are the parts of God that elect to undergo amnesia in order to discover our divinity (which hasn't been easy with the masses falling prey to all the various flavors of 'snake-oil salesmen')

Dear Cookie,I am baffled at the need of the darker side, the lower human psyche,do we really need dark to validate the light.Thought provoking, stirring write. The clariy of views shines through!

Cookie, this is well beyond my feeble comprehension. When I read your work, I never cease to wonder where you pull your terminology from. It’s the way you use words that I would never imagine being combined, and doing it so nicely that makes me so happy to have you as one of my favorites here at AP. I simply cannot ever get over the fact that you are able to put out such a spiritual work of art, and make it feel like you not are cramming it down the reader’s throat as so many I have read on this site.. You truly impress me with every word I read.

a mindless gaseous dung What a line! What a testiment to the ways of mankind. The poem is stunning, and engulfs the human psyche. We are a self-endulged perpetual people, moving in mundane motions. This poem is breathtaking and so thought-provoking. I must read it again to breathe in the truest essence possible. For now I am simply floored. Great my sister, just eloquent.
Much Love,
Renee

Thank you each and every one of you. The complexity of someone in charge is not an instant reverie, so I sure did want it to be the best.

Divine, Divine, Divine
Oh Dianne, dearest, how you wetted my cheeks with your divine words! I am reaching up to Him within all of my emotions - even when I am dancing with joy, or within silliness, I am this Child of God my Father, knowing He is there ...
Would a Child not know its Beloved Rose by its fragrance? Even if that Sacred Rose is Invisible? I am a small child, walking in this Garden of God - tainted by my sin - yet smelling His Fragrance of Sacred Stardom!
No words can verbalize that which I feel within the Presence of Him - the Alpha and Omega of our shared Love. In His Presence I speak the language of Silence.
God bless you, Poetess. Your words shimmer - pure stardust.
Love,
Myra

Excellent, don't change a thing!
Di~ Awesome poem! In my opinion you betray mankind (all human beings) in the two-faced lives all are tempted to LIVE. Many do live such lives 23/7. (make sure they are seen in same pew every Sabboth. Robotic in their faith declarations and walks. Can fool some of the people some of the time, some of the people all the time. No one Makes a Fool of God, Our Father and Jesus , Our Savior! They are the same Today, as yesterday as tomorrow....) Your language skills are awesome,Cookie! I think, since High School my language skills in the prairie dry rotted! Majority out this way, desire plain, simple, to the point! It's not lack of education, but lack of extra time(workloads on these Natives are enormous!)I am always humbled by your skill and literary abilities. Amazing, captivating background---pulls you in there and keeps you grounded like a magnet. Your poem reminded me of how God has been revealing to me through the scriptures and examples: his people recite the Lord's model prayer on auto pilot...never thinking what each line means and provision within, if We live by that example. Every being has broken the entire 10 commandments. Maybe, not all in the flesh and bone actions. If, we entertained an idea... we committed the sin in our thoughts. Did we, not???? I haven't been able to put all my notes together for a write. Pieces still missing in total picture. Wherever you, my dear, steal the time to write! Keep going! You give the rest of us so much encouragement and a higher mark to strive for with our efforts. Things settled down ? Around home front? You must never sleep? Praise God, soft gentle soaking rain for hours now(our severe drought needed real RAIN again)! God Bless You!

Nice mix of words, Cookie. Like colors spilled on canvas. Loved reading this.

I enjoyed the comparison of twinkling stars and gaseous dung
to the forked tongue that laughs at the serpents we pretrend
to idolize before bowing to our Lord and savior of it all.
a brillant take on wordly things and how much they matter
to us all....
